Works as intended for external accessories
Worked great replacing a broken receiver in my cheap Harbor Freight winch. Easy wiring although I had to replace some ring terminals with spades. Only gripe: the large remote has an on/off button, which is nice, but it doesn't seem to have an auto-shutoff feature, which is both a safety issue and a battery drain issue. The key fob does not have an on/off button, but has a cover to prevent the button from being pressed accidentally.
