This requires a lot of setup. I was kind of pissed because you would think if you have a Net Gear router, a Net Gear splitter, a Net Gear relay, they should all plug in and work together, not like that. As for the main router, yes that's fine, I wouldn't jump back and forth. I still can't connect to the internet through my wired router in my shed. I need to call technical support again. Hopefully I can find someone from the US who understands the problem.
