Review on 🌾 Walton Wood Farm Hand Rescue (Northern Girl) - Maple Brown Sugar Scent - Vegan-Friendly, Paraben-Free - 4 oz by Jeanette Jenson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Rich cream, juicy smell

As a chef I wash my hands often at the best of times and with Covid I can easily wash my already sensitive hands at least 50 times a day, no exaggeration. I use another Canadian brand that I like, but noticed this one with good reviews and a slightly lower price (although still a little pricey) and decided to give it a try. I couldn't decide on fragrances so I bought two: Week From Hell and Northern Girl. The first fragrances: Week From Hell correspond exactly to the description. Have you ever tried roasted grapefruit with melted brown sugar? That's what it smells like and it's delicious. I actually bought this fragrance because I liked the name, but I also fell in love with the fragrance. Northern Girl smells like french toast with maple syrup. OMG I want to eat my hands. Both winners! Now for the formula itself: thick, rich and oily, you can feel this cream healing your hands as you apply it. Luckily, it doesn't leave a sticky residue behind. Absolutely wonderful! This is the second Canadian brand I've tried recently (the other being Barefoot Venus). Both are beautiful and have an amazing aroma. I suspect they are designed for the cold Canadian winters, but despite living in a milder climate I appreciate the serious healing these formulas offer. I just ordered the Birthday Girl fragrance and I can't wait to try it! Edit: After falling in love with the first two glasses, I ordered Birthday Girl and Rebel Girl. Birthday Girl has the same great formula and smells like vanilla buttercream. However, Rebel Girl is a very different formula. It has almost no shea butter or cocoa butter and NO green tea extract. I don't know what fermented radish root is, but I know I don't want it in my body butter. Here are the ingredients in Northern Girl: deionized water, cocoa butter, shea butter, emulsifying wax, stearic acid, grapes. Seed Oil, Japanese Green Tea, Vitamin E, Glycol, Aroma. Rebel Girl Ingredients: Water, Cococaprylate, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Enzyme Filtrate, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil). ) Oil**, Polysorbate 60, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Prunus Dulcis (Almond) Oil, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Persea gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Oil, Centella asiatica Extract (Gotu Kola) Leaf, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Cinnamomum zeylanicum Leaf Essential Oil, Vanilla Flavor, Xanthan Gum Second Edition: Not only a great product, but great customer service too! I emailed them the ingredients and they got back to me right away. To my knowledge, Rebel Girl is the only fragrance with a radish formula. Next time I will try Southern Beauty.
