The headphone audio jack on my computer has stopped working. I called the nearest computer repair shop and they informed me that replacing the connector would mean I would have to work on the motherboard, a process that could potentially damage my computer. The workshop technician suggested this adapter as a workaround. I'm happy to say it works great. All I had to do was plug it into a USB port and then plug in whatever device I would normally plug into a headphone jack. I should also note that this adapter is made of a very durable material. It has heavy duty braided cable and high quality connectors at each end. Good.
