Our son has not worn them yet but we tried them on and the pair we received are true to size. He liked the shoes and asked to wear them again the next day (important as he usually fights for us to wear shoes other than his black tennis shoes which he wears EVERY day). He is 2 years old and usually wears a size 7 which is what we ordered in this shoe. They're cute and seem solid enough to get through the day we need them for. Wedding. They're cheap enough that I don't worry too much if he never wears them after the wedding. The upper is very soft and flexible. The sole feels rubbery and should prevent slipping.
