Overall great product so far. If you want an automatic power strip to turn lights on and off, you'll need to build your own lights. I'm a busy person who often forgets to turn on the light when I'm late. So I used another light source from another tank and placed it in this biosphere tank with command tape. I found that I didn't like that the wires to the bio light were already burned. So it's good that I changed it. You can see the bioball adapter had two connectors, one for the air pump and the other for the light, both use the same adapter which you then plug into an outlet. I guess this isn't usually a problem, but I had to set my lighting option to auto as I'm thinking about turning on the lights.
