This is the second such 4TB drive that "dies" a year later when used with macOS. The speed of writing and reading drops, it is almost impossible to transfer files (photos with a volume of 100 GB were thrown off for about 6 hours, then there was no longer enough patience). Any checks do not reveal any errors; from the point of view of diagnostics, everything is fine with him. There is a suspicion that the buffer or cache is filling up and formatting (complete erasing of all files) is indispensable.
