I bought this camera for snorkeling. Overall, the camera is very solid and feels very solid. The pictures I took were good even with the problems that come with using this camera. 1) The display is almost invisible underwater and in most lighting conditions. 2) The default setting is closed. The camera turned off after about a minute, I couldn't get the system to save the changed settings to turn it off automatically after turning off the camera. 3) There is a 13 second delay between pressing the shutter button and the moment the actual shot is taken. 4) The flash is weak. 5) You need to use a USB cable to get pictures from the camera because the SD card formatted by this camera is not recognized by multiple PCs. couldn't see the screen. I took as many photos as I could hoping to get a few good ones as I couldn't see what was in the frame. I had to turn on the camera several times. camera instead of enjoying what I'm doing. The lag time was killing me. I tested the system with a standard SD card before the trip. When I saw the lag, I tested the SanDisk Extreme III card from my SLR, which is slightly faster when used with a digital SLR. In this cell it didn't matter. I missed some good shots due to the delay. When I got home, I was surprised that I couldn't pull photos directly from the memory card and had to use the USB port. All in all, this is a decent underwater camera for less than $90. For my next trip, I plan to buy a higher quality camera that's more convenient to use, or I'll buy an underwater housing for one of my other point and shoot cameras.
