Review on 🚽 Clear Flush Valve Seal Kit for American Standard 7301111-0070A by Mike Lunde

Although the product is blue (like my original print) it was white. The product had a standard American name/logo (""AS") on the box so I am assuming it is genuine AS. Like the same thickness and quality. Installation was pretty easy and the kit came with simple instructions.The black plastic screw at the top of the piston didn't want to get lost so I used pliers to carefully loosen it at the notch and everything was easy after that.The instructions don't mention this but take care when reassembling to line up the grooves on the top half of the piston with the bottom half. Oh, and don't forget to replace the o-ring on the plastic screw (included). With the previous seal, I was able to get around 30 minutes after filling the Tanks see the level drop when I look at the water level in the overflow pipe, with a new seal the level was the same a few hours later so I'm sure that caused the problem g was resolved. Incidentally, I bought my Champion 4 toilet back in 2009 and have never changed this seal. I read that it needs to be changed every 3-5 years but my original lasted 11 years. Just in case I bought two extra sets of seals to have for the future. The price is very reasonable so it's not a hit with the wallet.
