Bought used like new for less than $9. An item that has never been used appears in an opened box. I never intended to use it indoors because it looks fake and cheap in the picture compared to our souvenirs from the National Tree Co. up close. The main needles are flat plastic. Shiny needles are round like pine needles with a distant frost effect. I was interested in breaking it down into lights, berries, and shiny needles to help fill in a few of our national garlands that are missing those elements. Easily disassembled in minutes. The battery operated LED light is an impressive 25 feet in length with various on and off effects. No tracking or flicker effects, just fade in and out, fade in and out, or stay on. They are powered by 3 AA batteries and are all waterproof for indoor and outdoor use. Pros: It looks good from a distance and is a lot fuller than most garlands, and I'd suggest trimming the tips of the branches a bit with scissors to better shape the tips for the close-up. UPS.
