Review on 🌡️ Stant 13399 Thermostat - Achieve Optimal Temperature at 195°F by Deshaun Fisher

The Stant 13399 is a 195 degree (Ford spec) 4.6 liter FOMOCO replacement thermostat for early mills. Delivery without seal. Proper Gasket: Motorcraft #RG-571. The thermostat is easy to install with the springs pointing down and the o-ring on top of the thermostat. After installation, the engine warms up quickly - and the temperature remains stable, regardless of the load. I've tried Motorcraft and Motorad Hi-Flo thermostats, but they took too long to warm up and ran too cold for the engine to run properly on long, high-speed trips in desert temperatures. Stant 13399 now gives me faster warm-up times, less engine wear, better emissions test results and slightly better fuel economy.
