I am new to PC building and was blown away when I ordered 5 5V RGB fans for my first PC. While this may not seem like an issue to many, it was an issue for me as I had a TUF Gaming X570 Plus motherboard with 12V RGB headers. As many will say, RGB is optional for a PC, but of course everyone wants their PC to look better, so I wanted to include it in my build. I've searched forums and guides to find a workaround for this and came across this 5v-12v converter. It's very easy to set up. All you have to do is plug one end into your power supply, one end into your 5V controller/fan and the other end into the 12V connector on your motherboard.
