I bought these feathers to create a crow costume for my child. I am very happy with the quality of these pens. They come in a variety of sizes, but any size is just enough so you don't end up with a lot of mismatched feathers. I bought three packs for my purposes and of these there are only a few nibs which I was unable to use due to obvious imperfection. I found these springs flexible and strong. The color is solid black. For the price, this product is really great.
