These Tempress seats are my favorite lightweight boat seats. I have them in my drift boat and needed seats for John's boat so I tried a cheaper seat and returned it due to quality issues. I only paid for them but they are worth it. My favorite part is that you can open the seat cover for cleaning or replacing. Other seats have a cushion built into the seat, so the cushion/cover cannot be changed. The plastic is also very thick and I couldn't imagine how they would break. The ones in my drift boat are 7 years old and still work great. If you look, most drift boat manufacturers use this seat.
