As you can see I used mid-sized bookshelf speakers for KEF 150. While I wouldn't use larger speakers on these stands, they pair well with these popular speakers. I appreciate the stability of the wider than usual base and the way the sturdy metal tube attaches to it (four screws through the wide flange from below). The exterior is nice too, with a solid rubber washer around the base of the tube so there isn't much wiggle room in your base. There are screw holes on the top if you're ok with plugging it into your cabinets - I'm not. Thoughtfully they included the double 3M adhesive triangles I used and they seem reliable enough without damaging the speakers. The cable management is the best I've seen in this type of thing, with enough room to even run a few cables and it's easy to thread them through the base and tube. Once assembled the device appears to be very stable - my cats have rubbed themselves against it with no death, injury or damage. The coasters seem to be sturdier than the other two models I've tried, I highly recommend and wish I'd found them sooner!
