Works great as a replacement!
We change cabin filters when we remember, so not that often! My husband just swapped it out in our 2006 Chevy Cobalt and noticed the difference almost immediately! If you find that your heater or air conditioner isn't blowing like it should, or not heating/cooling like you think it should, replace your cabin air filter before moving on to more expensive options. I'm not sure if all cars are the same, but we notice a difference in the comfort parameters of our creatures in the car when we change cabin filters.
