Block robot! for phones and accessories

This device is ideal for blocking robot calls on landlines including Ooma. Incoming calls can be routed to the press of a number, which bot dialers can't do, but humans can. A human can press a number and call your home phone while the robots just sit there β€” no call, no text. We received 3-5 automated calls a day, usually at very inconvenient times. Only people can get through now, and usually those are the participants we want to talk to. Caller ID doesn't work, at least not with our Ooma caller system, but that's a small price to pay. So why not 5 stars? The instruction was written by someone who failed English 101 - almost illegible. Luckily, the machine is pretty easy to set up, just don't expect any help from the instructions. Others have reported long-term reliability issues, but it lasted at least a week for us. If it goes down, we'll be back. --- UPDATE --- A power surge blew up this PBX (as did 2 AC units and several other electronics). Bought a second one. Set up was a lot easier since I kept my annotated instructions.

Pros
  • The SP-208 is the ideal bureau for a small or home office. It's packed with features and comes with an easy-to-use instruction manual.
Cons
  • No color required
