The built-in music on hold can Beethoven's Elise (Mine Is)

Ideal for voice calls and dial-up connections between computer modems. My Windows XP Pro (IBM ThinkPad) laptop is configured as a remote server and uses inbound connections with Remote Access Services included with Windows XP Pro. Fax is also supported (yes, I'm a nerd with too much tech stuff in my room, everything is plugged in and working). The auto attendant is very useful when you connect a line and extension to another PBX (yes I have 2 PBXs, 2 or more computers, I used to have 8 phones…

  • Designed and manufactured according to the G.712 and G.732 CCITT protocols, this system combines the advantages of various practical PABX functions and has a unique innovation advantage.

Great features for the price

A very cheap PBX. A bit difficult to program though. I bought it to use as an automatic call blocker, which it did, but the Panasonic wireless extension phone wasn't receiving caller ID information like it would with a direct connection. I returned it and bought Sentry Call Blocker V2.2. instead and following Sentry's instructions found that the caller ID issue is related to certain phones, for example Panasonic does not receive caller ID on the other side of such devices. An AT&T CRL82312…

Pros
  • It has all the standard features that are comparable to the expensive PBX systems on the market. It works with your current analog phones and you don't have to spend extra money to buy proprietary phones that work with the PBX.
Cons
  • There are shortcomings

Block robot! for phones and accessories

This device is ideal for blocking robot calls on landlines including Ooma. Incoming calls can be routed to the press of a number, which bot dialers can't do, but humans can. A human can press a number and call your home phone while the robots just sit there β€” no call, no text. We received 3-5 automated calls a day, usually at very inconvenient times. Only people can get through now, and usually those are the participants we want to talk to. Caller ID doesn't work, at least not with our Ooma…

Pros
  • The SP-208 is the ideal bureau for a small or home office. It's packed with features and comes with an easy-to-use instruction manual.
Cons
  • No color required

Stop robots! Best Telephones and Accessories

I bought this device for one reason: to stop robots. And he does it very well! Although we rarely use it, we wanted to keep our land line as we have had this number for over 30 years. The problem is that robots call dozens of times a day. I've tried different blocking services but none of them are worth the money. I chose to install a device that prompts the caller to dial a code. Calling robots won't be able to answer that, but living humans will. I do not use any extension functions of this…

Pros
  • 2 CO lines x 8 extensions, automatic telephone system.
Cons
  • Vulgarity
