I'm at a stage where I just can't get enough ethernet ports (network cards) installed on my computer, so I bought some Atolla adapters to power some of my Add Raspberry Pi. I was a bit concerned because they seem to have the drivers required for Windows and OS X but only a single Linux driver. Not to be intimidated by such a small thing as missing drivers, I started plugging them into the Raspberry Pi's USB ports and they just started working. No problem. I haven't had much time to play, but a few speed tests I've run show that Atolla adapters are about as fast as some of the multiport server NICs I have and about 10 times the price are.
