First off I use this cable in my 2012S 550 car. I use it to slip whatever I have on my phone over the car speakers. And it does an incredible job. I can make phone calls... I can use my WAZE GPS and most importantly I can hear or listen to all of my 10,000 streams of music through my car speakers. The only thing it doesn't do is charge your phone while I do all of the above. Now keep in mind that trying to find a cable...or rather, a working cable that will do all of the above while charging your phone will be an insurmountable task. If you get one and I had one, it won't work for long. Mine lasted about two weeks and then you can only hear the music and it charged it, but my GPS wouldn't play through the speakers and I couldn't get my phone calls through the car speakers anymore. So let's recap until I find one that will charge your phone while you use it. This works for all of the above.
