Looking for Ice Silk cooling for hot flashes and head temperature control? this is not for you This pillowcase DOES NOT COOL AT ALL. I can now say I am a pillow expert having bought every pillow I could find in store and here on Amazon. From regular to blue/white memory foam, from shredded to orthopedic, etc. you name it. I don't have neck and shoulder problems, but I sleep on my side and rarely change positions. So when do I wake up? Everything just hurts (right neck to right lower back) and my bed is smoking too. BTW I have the coolest TEMPUR BREEZE bed that costs $6,000 but there are people like me you only weigh 105 pounds? Our bodies will just HEAT for no reason, even if we're just relaxing, reading, watching Netflix and not moving, doing nothing. My friends called it MONACA. Many people have the same problems and we only feel it as we get older. All memory foams have the same standard problem, they are THICK and don't offer enough support, just more problems. The best solution is CRUSHED memory foam or a double sized pillow. I bought 8 memory foams in different styles and cooling systems (bamboo, tencel etc etc). Some say it's ICE silk, but it's not! I'm a little frustrated with how they sell their products. And for true cooling memory foam, ICE SILK COMFICLOUD is the best here on Amazon! nothing beats their ICE SILK cooling, trust me. The problem is they only come in their standard sizes, I wish they had queen and king sizes so you have more room to move your head when the ICE SILK heats up. Yes you don't have an air conditioned pillow don't dream lol! They are only temporarily cool, but not HOT like a normal pillow, and regulate the temperature of the head to keep it cool while you sleep. I also bought shredded ZPECC memory foam which I found to be second best to ICE SILK and with great support but not too thick or sinking. To see their FULL thickness, I took a plastic trash bag and put them in to EXPAND while I wash the pillowcases, and voila! Very thick and comfortable, until then you can also remove the shredded styrofoam to customize your pillow. Hope that helps!
