Good length and easy to stick into the ground. But the metal began to rust.
I really like this product and it is very convenient for our little puppy to be outside in the yard where there is no fence yet. Unfortunately, the end that attaches to the dog's collar or vest has started to rust. I made the mistake of leaving it overnight and it rained that night.
