Appears to work well. One thing I learned from using this unit is that you can only run about 70-80 feet with a 14 AWG 15 amp Romex before it crosses the 5% threshold. In fact, I could tell how everything is wired in a room by the voltage drop at each outlet on the same circuit. My only complaint is that I have to wait 20 seconds between tests to make sure I don't burn the resistor. Not even sure what is defined as "test". Is it every time you plug it in or when you loop through the voltage drop across different amps? I hooked this up to Kill-a-Watt and assume it's doing a load test when it first looks at the voltage drop for each load (12, 15, 20). If you look at the voltage drop, there doesn't seem to be a kill-a-watt load when switching between different loads.
