Review on SZELAM Submersible Aquarium Temperature Controller by Vedprakash Trilltight

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far so good

I was afraid to try this because there aren't any reviews for it, but it seemed like my only option for a tank heater with a working internal thermostat that would fit my tank size (1.5 gallons). Pros: • It fits in my small tank • You can set the desired temperature • The shut off function seems to work, it only went 0.4 degrees higher than I set so overheating hasn't bothered me so far • Suction cups hold up well • Heater burns not and doesn't feel too hot • the fish doesn't seem to mind at all Cons: • I had trouble setting the temperature, the button isn't easy to press at all so it's not easy to replace • I want that Thermostat reader installed on the outside of the tank shows what temperature it is, not both inside the tank and outside the tank, indicating the temperature of the water. I have yet to do a water change with this heater so it will be interesting to see if it says what it will do when it does.

Pros
  • Protection against dry fire and lack of water. This aquarium immersion heater is more sensitive and intelligent to protect against dry running and water shortage than other heaters. And it will turn off automatically when taken out of the water and the external controller will display the error code "E1".
Cons
  • Not sure
