Review on Professionals Choice Fly Boots by Katrina Kruger

I bought these boots because I thought Professionals Choice is a respected company that makes good products. My horse stayed there 24/7. He had been wearing them for several days when the blacksmith came. After taking them off, we found that his back leg was severely swollen between the Velcro straps, to the point where the skin had actually torn, leaving horizontal cuts. Unsure if it was just a horse or something he did on his own I tried them out on my new 3 year old OTTB foal. NEW pair of boots, SAME rear left foot, SAME result! I got a huge swelling but got it much earlier so it didn't cause the same open sores. I contacted the company in good faith as the return period had expired and they basically called me a LIAR. If others have had a similar experience PLEASE share because since no one else has reported problems she basically said it couldn't be done. I hope no one else has to go through this and that someday I can forget about this abuse and poor customer service.
