Constant temperature maintenance

I use them in 8ft x 3ft galvanized steel feeders that hold lime saturated water and are about 12 inches deep. The tanks are stock, which is between 50 and 65 degrees. My heater is set at 73 degrees and keeps it at that temperature with no problem. These heaters are immersed in lime water with a pH of 14 and can withstand this harsh, corrosive environment for a few winters.
