Review on πŸ’‘ Enhance Your Lighting with JACKYLED 15 Pack Chandelier Converter Adapter by Mark Jefferson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good, it works for chandeliers on a standard base

other sellers raised the price and asked up to $5 for an adapter. Converters / adapters enable the use of LED lamps with standard bases in candelabra sockets. A hidden problem with LED bulbs is that I haven't yet found a bright or equally bright LED candle shaped bulb that I could use in Hunter's current ceiling fan mount. The price of standard LED lightbulbs has just dropped to just under $10 per lightbulb. As an electrician, I've noticed that standard LED bulbs have a large heatsink base that keeps the bulb cool and working safely even when it's upside down. You can actually touch this ring and feel the heat while there is no heat on the base. Glass sphere. Many filament fluorescent lamps and LED lamps have an overheat protection transformer built into the base. Many spiral fluorescent tubes will not work in ceiling vessels due to overheat shutdown. So far, having tried the LED bulbs of various lightbulbs, the generic brand LEDs have worked just as well as the more well-known brands. Some reviewers have complained that some converters don't work; I think this is due to incorrect installation of the lamps. If you are mounting these bulbs outdoors, consider using petroleum jelly or automotive grade silicone electrical lubricant on the threads as LED bulbs can last longer before replacing them. I install the adapters on the bulb and then on the fixture. This allows you to increase the torque and not burden the device. I suspect the seller started testing before shipping this item. For the really technical ones, you can use a continuity capable meter to test each adapter. The truth is that there are very few parts in an adapter that can fail. Read the review of increasing the central contact (in the disabled state). I haven't seen the adapter thread depth issue described in another review.
