This is a quality tricycle made from durable hard plastic that converts into a balance bike. This is a gift for my one year old grandson. I was able to try it out with a 2 year old who has a classic red metal tricycle. This bike is SO easy to assemble, no tools required, no instructions to read. It took tools and a bit of work to assemble the red metal tricycle. The rear wheels of this bike are quite close together, making it not as stable as a red tricycle. wider apart less. However, I felt better about having a hard plastic bike fall on him than a heavier metal bike. Plastic does not rust, which is another advantage of this bike. The bike is easily adjustable - saddle and handlebars.
