Personal refrigerators don't cool when the outside temperature is above 90 degrees. I bought these during a 3 day heat wave when the family was trying to cool off a bit. These coolers, even with ice added to the water and we sat directly in front of it, didn't cool the immediate space at all. A complete waste of money. The power supply is very sensitive when you turn it on - you can easily turn it on, off and on with one touch. Again, this is not for cooling at high temperatures. It might work at a temperature of 80 degrees, but then who needs it.
