I have to say my two teenage kittens didn't want to leave it alone while I was building it This is amazing Sturdy and quite heavy (for a medium size) I was worried from the reviews it wouldn't be strong after putting it together but it definitely is I do have two kittens who live in the house though Turning a year old on August and playing a big hard game I'm very scared it will be too hard with both of them at the pole Yes I lean it against the wall for support They love balls and I just recommend it for the game " they get from them. If my two don't work I give it to a family member - it's definitely worth the price you pay. I just should have gone a little more I think.
