Review on Experience Stunning Visuals with the HP T3M88AA ABA Backlit Monitor ๐Ÿ’ฅ - Lightweight and Thin 27ER with Full HD Resolution and HDMI Connectivity! by Sandro Olson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Attractive monitor compatible with Apple/iMac

Overall I am very happy with this monitor. It's very thin and attractive in construction and design, and color-matches my 27" iMac desktop very well. It's also excellent in terms of functionality. To be fair, the display quality is certainly inferior to my Apple desktop. However, it's still a solid choice when compared to competing 27" monitors that cost under $300. With this display and my Apple desktop side-by-side, I think only a trained eye can tell the difference at a glance .At this price I am impressed and satisfied with the color and contrast and sharpness.. Videographers and graphic designers may not share my enthusiasm but they should also be aware that at such a low price they will not find anything giving them the professional picture quality they need. For people like me who work with text, this is more of a monitor than I need. Di e Display customization is another plus point. The rich settings allow me to create a near-perfect replica of my Apple display's brightness, hue, and temperature. And I can't stress this enough - so far this monitor is VERY iMac friendly... My old external monitor didn't get along well with my iMac and was causing various glitches in the behavior as a result. For example, my iMac randomly reset the display settings for an old monitor. For no apparent reason, the old monitor started up with a 720 image when set to 1080, or the wallpaper was different, or the window got smaller, etc. There were no such problems with this monitor, and there is no indication that anyone has can happen (although I'll definitely update this review if that's the case). My only complaint is that I didn't give this monitor five stars. That complaint is that I'm forced to use the included monitor stand as there aren't any VESA wall mount holes on the back of the display (I understand there are adapters, but I don't like such adapters). I knew it when I bought it, so it's on me. What I didn't realize was how short the included stand would be. Unfortunately, due to the height of this monitor stand, the display is about two inches lower than my desktop iMac, requiring me to use a custom built stand to place the displays at eye level. Otherwise, I am very satisfied.
