Review on Experience Stunning Visuals with the HP T3M88AA ABA Backlit Monitor πŸ’₯ - Lightweight and Thin 27ER with Full HD Resolution and HDMI Connectivity! by Drew Lascody

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Pay attention to glare protection, screen resolution and size, viewing distance and lighting conditions.

The performance of this monitor is superior to others in normal daylight and with the windows open because reflections are diffuse and black pixels appear like a dark mirror on the monitor. While this is perfectly normal for any anti-glare monitor, this monitor performs much worse in low light or total darkness where you can see the anti-glare diffuser scattering light at random angles when the screen is black! In other words. If you plan to shoot a film in low light or with no light, you should expect weird glows at different angles for any area that goes dark in the film, along with a distorted color reconstruction! This can be seen in one of the pictures from the test. where the MacBook display produces brighter colors than this side-by-side display. This is because the MacBook does not have a diffuser (anti-glare) which causes a lot of reflections in normal daylight and very good light transmission in low light conditions, while this monitor (27) does not diffuse its own light well in low-light ambient conditions, cuts however, performs much better in daylight when ambient light dominates the 250-nit display brightness. My recommendation: buy it if you use it in daylight. For example in an office with overhead lighting or bright daylight. Don't buy it if you use it in low light or no ambient light: it will give you headaches due to light diffusion and poor light transmission due to the anti-glare diffuser. In addition, choosing a larger display leads to a scattering of the pixels. In other words, a 27-inch 1080p display will display an actual pixel of information using 4 or more physical display pixels. This results in an unwanted cloudiness or blurring of the image on the screen. If you're not a fan of the details, buy a 4k display or just buy the 24" version instead of the 27" but also consider the viewing distance e.g. B. where you want to place the display, how far from your eyes and also obvious lighting conditions (very important). Closing the story: I tried to use it mainly in the evenings as I was out most of the day and I returned this Revain display on the third day of purchase.
