Six-tooth brush is theoretically good

My Roomba's six-tooth brush got stuck when going from hardwood to carpet. The teeth fell under the carpet and stopped as soon as they were on the carpet. I cut off three prongs to make it look like the original and it could easily work again from solid wood. The six prongs work great on hardwood but not on carpet or transition to carpet. The rest of the items work great.
