Review on API ALGAEFIX Control Solution 8 Ounce by Julie Shepard

It works. If you don't want dead fish, you should read this.

So I've waited a long time to write this. After reading all the dead fish reviews I had to. As long as there are no dead fish. At the moment I only have algae-eating Ottos that can't keep up. So, here's how they stayed alive, and that's my advice. Don't just pour it into the tank. If you do, you are stupid and you will get what is to come. If you have a fish that thinks it's food, don't avoid watering it all the way. Let me explain my process. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOTTLE, NOT HERE. Then check under the dose. So if it affects your fish, they have a chance to recover. The first time I used 1/4 dose. After 3 days I increased it to 1/2, added another 1/4 and so on up to 3/4 the dose. I didn't take the full dose but it still works. I have 1 gallon water bottles, I pour 1ml in 1 gallon with 1ml anti stress coating, add rinse water and let sit for 10 minutes. I water it during normal water changes, just water and an anti-stress layer, then another with algae solution. This is how dilution works. My fish don't get close so it seems safe. If I later want to increase the dose but don't want to mess with the water, I'll open the lid of my filter and pour it in there so it doesn't go straight into the fish but mixes with the water. It also prevents them from approaching a concentrated dose. People get dead fish from throwing a full dose right in their face. And they can't even count. Yes, I have a 40 liter tank. Can I dose 40 gallons? No! I filled most of it with gravel, sand, plants and rocks. I don't have 40 gallons of water, I have 30. The 40 gallon dosage is an overdose. If you do, guess what you're getting. As you can see, this is a product that requires some thought and thought, but if you manage to think a little, you will be fine. Never thoughtlessly pour anything into your aquarium.
