A magical solution to algae

I left town and when I came back my aquarium had a heavy infestation of algae (literally to the point where you couldn't see inside the aquarium at all). I have a 40 gallon tank, I did as the bottle said and added 3ml algae killer to the water. I was very skeptical because of the small amount that went in, I mean how would 3ml help 40 gallons of water? But after a few hours I could look into the pool again, certainly 100% better than before putting it in the pool. The next day he had eliminated

I've been using it for 2 years with no problems

I installed a small 70 gallon outdoor pond a few years ago. We have some aquatic plants and 5 goldfish. I noticed some algae etc getting heavy in the pond so I looked around and found this algae killer. I've been using it for 2 years now and it really helps keep the pond clean. That's good because you can see the bottom, it's 2 feet deep and you can see everything. I use it once a week year round and our 2 inch goldfish are now 4 inch goldfish. I would recommend it for small ponds but not sure…

The rest is right - it will kill your fish!

I followed the instructions exactly and only used half the dose. I diluted it in 2.5 liters of water. My freshwater tank has been set up for years and I had an issue with some invasive hair algae after adding some moss balls. I have over ten years of experience in keeping freshwater aquariums. It threw me off balance and I thought I was going to lose everyone! I had to throw away ALL my filter media (which was expensive since it's a canister filter) and do big water changes every day. Through…

API ALGEAFIX Algea Control is toxic. It killed all my fish 😡😥

I have had goldfish for five years since I was born. Algae was everywhere in my aquarium due to the exposure to the sun. I bought this ALGEAFIX API after reading all the comments and found the rating positive, so let's buy it. As you can see in the picture I removed all the fish before you applied this product. I then followed the directions on the bottle and used just 4ml, less than a cup and what they recommended in my 54 gallon tank. Leave on for a day, then rinse thoroughly and repeat for…

I had a beautiful exotic goldfish that greeted me with 'fins up' every morning. However, after 24 hours of treatment the algae was gone from the water (no more algae mist - very quick and effective product) but the fins were down and I could tell my fish (her/his name was Goldie) was struggling. By the way, my younger fish was unharmed. I dropped everything and immediately did a 30% water change, making sure to vacuum up as much of the dead algae that had settled on the gravel as the…

It works. If you don't want dead fish, you should read this.

So I've waited a long time to write this. After reading all the dead fish reviews I had to. As long as there are no dead fish. At the moment I only have algae-eating Ottos that can't keep up. So, here's how they stayed alive, and that's my advice. Don't just pour it into the tank. If you do, you are stupid and you will get what is to come. If you have a fish that thinks it's food, don't avoid watering it all the way. Let me explain my process. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOTTLE, NOT HERE. Then
