I installed a small 70 gallon outdoor pond a few years ago. We have some aquatic plants and 5 goldfish. I noticed some algae etc getting heavy in the pond so I looked around and found this algae killer. I've been using it for 2 years now and it really helps keep the pond clean. That's good because you can see the bottom, it's 2 feet deep and you can see everything. I use it once a week year round and our 2 inch goldfish are now 4 inch goldfish. I would recommend it for small ponds but not sure I can use it for anything over 500 gallons given the cost. But for my small pond, one bottle lasts about a year.
