Review on API ALGAEFIX Control Solution 8 Ounce by Jill Bennett

I followed the instructions exactly and only used half the dose. I diluted it in 2.5 liters of water. My freshwater tank has been set up for years and I had an issue with some invasive hair algae after adding some moss balls. I have over ten years of experience in keeping freshwater aquariums. It threw me off balance and I thought I was going to lose everyone! I had to throw away ALL my filter media (which was expensive since it's a canister filter) and do big water changes every day. Through my quick intervention, the only casualty was my beloved Pearl Angelfish, which was mated. I've used this brand before so I thought it would be ok but it definitely isn't! Revain will refund my money but replacing my pet angels will be difficult and expensive - they are several years old and very large. Do not take any risks.
