Easy to install to replace keyless cylinder locks.

Due to building refurbishments, closures etc I've been transferred to work a few times and I always end up with old and discarded furniture and bookshelves as I'm a 'new' person and they never NEVER have mismatched keys. There are locks but no keys. Sometimes I can find the manufacturer, part number and order keys, other times they are mysterious items and I can't find out enough about them to order keys. I suppose I could disassemble them and take them to a locksmith, but that would probably cost me as much as simply replacing them. And some are so worn that I still want new ones. They are great for replacing sets of locks. Sometimes I need a washer or a special latch or whatever came with the keyless kit I remove but other than that they come with most of the parts I need. I didn't have any particularly weird holes in my desk or furniture to fill in, they seem pretty versatile. Maybe the depth will change, but most things are very similar and can work (maybe with a shim or something). Now I can lock my stuff. I swear I've done this with at least 6 or 7 articles in the last 3 years. When I leave a table or closet, I always put the keys in a drawer. Why don't people do that!? If I know who's in my office, I just give them the keys, but if it's some idiot who's been rude to me, I don't know. Haha!
