I needed a bag to slip my old 7 inch Kindle in while reading in bed at night. I hate holding a Kindle because my fingers and hand get a little cold and it's so uncomfortable. It arrived in 2 days with Prime Ship. When I first opened it up and tried it on (without caring how it was supposed to fit) I really thought I'd send it back because it doesn't fit my Kindle in any way, it's too big or I thought mine Kindle just doesn't fit tightly in it. I kept the packaging and shipping and was ready to return it. It was 2 days ago. Worked yesterday so no time to mess around with it. Today I decided to check if I'm doing something wrong because it says it will fit a 7 or 8 inch Kindle. So I came here and looked at the pictures in the ad. You have to bend it a certain way and put the corners of the Kindle in strips and then slip the Kindle holder into one of the mounts on the bottom of the stand to position it there while you watch. Roger that? Anyway, it fits perfectly and holds the Kindle well on the pillow so I don't have to. I really like it now that I was able to figure it out. I'm spatially illiterate so here's the thing. This is a good piece for your old Kindle as a case and holder. Durability can be an issue as the tethers are universal and a bit loose for a 7" Kindle, but for now it works. I like it.
