Review on Fowler Micrometer 52 240 005 1 Measuring Graduation by David Bowens

I bought the 1"-2" version cheaply. I bought it because I wanted to replace the metal ratchet with the Mitutoyo mic that comes with the plastic ratchet. The exchange went well and now I also have a cheap second microphone. It repeats well. Build quality is lacking. Good cleaning and lubrication required. feels rough But I didn't expect much. I'm surprised that's actually happening. Bottom line: you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a good microphone, keep looking. If you just want a regular microphone or spare parts, then everything is fine. It gets 4 stars from me because it's actually a little better than expected.
