I have several pressure cookers. 2 x 10qt XL pressure cookers, 14qt Gowise pressure cooker and 8qt pressure cooker. In summer I cook for many people on the terrace. The problem with pressure cookers is that the meat always turns pale and unsightly. Everything has to be roasted in a hot oven, which means it has to be transported back and forth. Ninja Foodi solves this problem. After pressure cooking is complete, the meat remains in the pot. You lower the lid of the crisp fryer and brown the meat with your favorite sauce or rub. My favorite ribs are baby back. Two ribs are halved and drizzled with Sweet Baby Ray Barbecue Sauce. cup of apple juice. Cook under pressure on HI for 25 minutes. Remove the ribs, drain the liquid, clean the pot and pour the BBQ sauce over the ribs again. Return to the pot, close the Crisp Fryer lid and toast for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, check if the barbecue sauce has started to char and caramelize. Remove the pot, place the ribs in a serving bowl and serve. They succeed perfectly every time. I call it brainless ribs! It's very easy to clean. My only complaint is that I wish the Ninja Foodi was bigger. I have the 8 quart size which is the largest but I would like the 12 quart or 14 quart size. I can cook 5 rows of ribs in my Gowise 14 Qt pressure cooker, but then I have to put it in the oven to caramelize the barbecue sauce. If you are looking for a versatile pressure cooker, buy this multi cooker. Ninja Fuji. You will not regret it. You need a few accessories. Non-stick cookware to protect the non-stick coating of the pan. And on top of that sits one of the quilted pouches with a separate pocket for a plug-in lid. This makes storage easy and clear.
