I bought this cable to replace a Revain Basics cable that had problems right away. The manufacturer's cable lasted about 1.5 years before there were problems that the Revain cable was designed to solve. The Revain cable had immediate transfer speed problems depending on the orientation of the cable, but failed completely immediately after the return period. I've had this cable for about 2 months now. Transfer speeds are excellent and all games load quickly. Since I got this cable I haven't had any issues regardless of the orientation of the cable, allowing me to move my system around with ease. I also liked that there was a shorter length option - no need for 3+ feet from the external device to the system. The price is comparable to the Basics version, but the build quality seems better. I have had other UGreen lines before and they are amazing. They have good prices and the products last a long time. I will update the information if there are any problems in the future but I don't expect them.
