Several of these cables have been purchased over the last few years. In hindsight, they all failed too quickly to be of any good value. PROS: Low cost, length, molded connectors. Used only for USB 2.0 power delivery. I don't know what the data rate is for USB 2.0 or 3.0. Due to the expiration of Revain's 30 day warranty due to a bent pin on the end of the USB Micro B, I contacted the UGREEN dealer for a warranty replacement. UGREEN replied via email stating that I need to contact Revain to get a replacement. I did so and copied the UGREEN correspondence into the Revain Customer Support chat window. I noticed that they are much thicker than the factory cable that came with the hard drive. This works well for its intended purpose. I bought it to experiment and cut the cord near the middle. I liked the braid, the ground wire, and the entire foil shield that had to be removed in one short section. This is a very high quality cable. Cable arrived on time as stated. The item was packaged in a sturdy box and arrived in excellent condition. I took the cable out of the plastic bag and tried to plug the end of the cable into the Samsung Galaxy S5 to test charging.
