Quality Nuts: Accessories and Parts

Bought these for my RX8. After repeated removal and installation, aluminum pieces from standard wheels were cold-welded onto the seat surface of my standard nuts. The landing pad on the stock wheels was also pretty badly damaged. Time for new wheels! But aside from needing a smaller nut diameter for my new wheels, I didn't want the same damage. So I checked out these McGards. The cone seat rotates within the nut body and does not rotate when clamping the wheel. This prevents damage to the wheel and nut. They work amazing! They are of very good quality - first class workmanship, perfect carving, thick chrome plating. The seat rotates very smoothly. I've put the wheels on and off a few times now and everything still looks new - nuts and wheels (thank the nuts). A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I wish I had had them when I first got my car, then my stock wheels would still be in perfect condition.
