Let me start by saying that I would love this water bottle and I have never felt compelled to leave a negative review. The concept is great and the stickers are a nice addition. I ordered pink. The lid doesn't leak but sometimes drips when opened due to water getting into the threads. BUT the product information specifically says the bottle won't taste like plastic. I'm not sure if I received a defective bottle, but that's a blatant lie. I'm so disappointed because there's nothing like bringing a thirsty pregnant woman a big gulp of water and a taste of the chemicals. Really disgusting. I also wonder if the product is really BPA free? I've had the bottle for a little over a week now and the taste hasn't gone away. I've never left it in the heat, used the dishwasher, put anything in it other than water, etc. I've washed it and air dried it overnight hoping this will fix the problem, but it hasn't helped. I was so excited when it arrived and now I feel like I wasted $20 on a cheap plastic bottle with a maternity sticker that I can't trust.
