It's not the first second screen for my laptop, but it's the first that I actually use regularly and enjoy because of the smarter way it connects to my laptop; I connected the previous one to a series of magnets that you attach to your laptop with strong adhesive stickers. It worked, but it also meant you were left with four magnets attached to the back of your laptop, which is frankly unsightly and not at all elegant. This one connects in a much smarter way. It has a retractable body with small arms that easily wrap around the laptop screen and hold the second screen firmly in place for either display on the back of the laptop or flipped over as a second extended screen. Because of the design, it not only works as a second screen, but also as a way to show someone sitting across from you while you work on your laptop. Screen quality is good; it is 60 Hz and full 1080; It's a bit dark and the colors aren't as vivid as on my laptop's built-in 300Hz HD screen, but it's good enough for everyday use or even watching shows or games (and if I'm gaming on this one with Running V-Sync makes it a little less demanding on my GPU since they are locked at 60Hz). Overall this is a good screen at a reasonable price at its current price of $300. However, I've seen the price drop significantly (20% off or more) during the sale, so it might be worth waiting for a better price.
