Bought this dress for my daughter since she loves all things mermaids. When we received the dress it is poorly constructed at the seam between the top and the skirt. It is also a far cry from the item shown on the photo. The scales stop at the shirt seam is a straight line instead into a gradual point. Material feels like a swimsuit. All around I would absolutely return it for false advertising but my daughter loves it. Jury is still out on what is happening with it but most likely returned for a different mermaid dress from another retailer
