Review on ⚡️ BPV31 Piercing Valve for Bullet with R134a Charging Hose & Refrigerant Can Tap with Gauge by Jared Coleman

Good Stuff / Bad Stuff - All misspellings are intentional

First, a higher quality similar set would be better. The hose is ok, the valve is not good. Pros: Hose and gauge work great. High quality product. It goes perfectly with the 134a bottle I bought at the auto parts store. Cons: The needle valve is junk. The needle is not a needle, but rather a set screw that crushes the copper tubing until a "hole" is formed. The correct collar did not fit in the valve body, I had to use a pick to clean out the locking hole (full of grease and aluminum shavings) to try to get the valve to work. The small clamp fits well on the copper pipe, it took a bit of work to get it into the valve body. The valve body is, well, not finished. The aluminum is dingy and most importantly there is no gasket to keep everything sealed. Now I have a connected valve that is leaking. If I remove it I have to drain the entire system, if I leave it in place I have to keep refilling the system. Do yourself a favor and buy a different/better valve, this will most likely damage the copper tubing and the extra leak.
