It's not worth it. in air conditioning tools and equipment

So the ball valve should have a rubber seal to keep the freon in the system which I didn't have. The next day I went to my local refrigerator store and found the same valve for $4 and the next larger size for $6. I haven't used the sensor once, but it might come in handy later in the future.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Empty

It worked great! - Air Conditioning Tools & Accessories

Does the fridge get a little warm? mine was. Bought this set. I got freon at Autozone for $8-9. I recommend the video instructions on You Tube. Charge fridge. Crazy Romanian. Straight. Pretty easy to follow guide. I had to bend the copper pipe over 90 degrees. Take your time ! You only have one chance to properly weld the copper pipe. Be careful ! Write down the instructions.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No performance

Excellent value for money and quality!

I bought a new fridge about 5 years ago and all of a sudden the pipes started to freeze and the fridge lost its cooling ability. This is a common symptom of a low refrigerant level. So I bought this kit, added the correct refrigerant and have had no problems for months! It would cost me hundreds of dollars for a pro to come out and do the same! Therefore I can highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will do

Easy to install with a little research.

THIS IS NOT A SCHRADER VALVE! The piercing needle acts as a stop to prevent refrigerant from escaping from the open port. The end of the hose that goes to the refrigerant bottle fits perfectly into a small can of R134a from an auto repair shop. I used several YouTube videos to help me install. Installation was quick and easy. My only complaint is that I had to trim the gasket a bit to fit the clamp. I used this to fix my dehumidifier that was no longer producing water and was low on…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Punch valve is leaking

I put it in to add freon to the system, then I realized I was hearing a constant leak. I had to evacuate and take back the whole system. It turns out that the piercing valve at the needle site is missing a rubber gasket meant to seal that area. So now I have to renovate this place, buy a new valve and a system that needs a full charge. It turned a quick and cheap fix for a fridge that wasn't freezing properly into a fix that cost almost as much as a fridge. Mere consideration is hardly…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

I think it worked well

I gave it three stars, neutral because I don't know if it's my problem or hers. After loading my fridge, the freezer compartment was pleasantly cold. But I waited a day and came back to check the pressure and the entire pressure pipe on the fridge was covered in ice. That suggests there was a leak somewhere. It could have been an earlier leak, but most likely it was a knockout valve that didn't close properly. I don't know because the next day I sold the device and bought a new one. It worked…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Only available in black

Missing parts, horrible to sell what doesn't work

no seal, doesn't seal at all, as soon as you open the valve you can hear the freon start flowing inside the fridge. Bought from another seller, works. Lesson Learned: 1. If you installed the puncture valve, don't pierce the hole yet, connect the charge hose and R194a canister first. Open the jar, put some pressure on r194a, close the jar. The pressure must remain in the hose for a long time, this is necessary to check the tightness of the system.2. If step 1 works tight, loosen the hose…

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • security

Good Stuff / Bad Stuff - All misspellings are intentional

First, a higher quality similar set would be better. The hose is ok, the valve is not good. Pros: Hose and gauge work great. High quality product. It goes perfectly with the 134a bottle I bought at the auto parts store. Cons: The needle valve is junk. The needle is not a needle, but rather a set screw that crushes the copper tubing until a "hole" is formed. The correct collar did not fit in the valve body, I had to use a pick to clean out the locking hole (full of grease and aluminum shavings)…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
