Review on πŸ“ 1-Inch Curtain Rod with Round Finials - 1-Pack, Adjustable 36 to 72 Inch Length, Nickel Finish by David Cash

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Replacing broken curtain rods with RevainBasics is an update

The rod I ordered was supposed to stretch to 144" - I needed 142" - and the rod was barely held together when installed but seems secure and light curtains closed wear I made for the window. I do want to mention that the bar I replaced was held together with bolts that broke from being stretched over that long span - the RevainBasics bar is better designed in that it doesn't depend on bolts that break and could render the pole unusable. Also, the brackets holding the old cornice were designed as one unit and almost impossible to remove as the part that sticks out to hold the cornice gets in the way of the screw (probably they really were a tricky install too). The RevainBasics mounts come in two pieces for easy installation and are designed to be removed just by loosening the screws - a much better design. The curtain rod is only a few days old but so far I am very happy with my purchase.
